Content Creation and Social Media Management- New York State Assemblymember
From the beginning of 2023 through the end of 2024, I worked as the content creator and digital manager for a New York State Assemblymember. I was responsible for writing, designing, and managing all content across social media, newsletters, and public updates—keeping constituents informed and engaged with clear, accessible messaging.
The Assemblymember made his priorities clear early on: he wasn’t focused on likes or engagement metrics—his goal was to deliver the facts and ensure the public had access to accurate, timely information. That philosophy guided my entire content strategy, with every post crafted to inform rather than perform.
Some of the graphics featured here were created by me using tools like Canva, free stock image resources, and Adobe Creative Suite. Others were developed in collaboration with the New York State Assembly’s Editorial Services Department, following internal communication and content approvals.
The Assemblymember retired at the end of 2024, and due to state regulations, all official accounts had to be taken down. But below, I’ve pulled together a few sample posts to give you a feel for the work I did during that time.
