Gabriella Gelir

"I used to be a university professor."

For years, I taught linguistics and communication, helping students master language and critical thinking. But I wanted to do more—so I pivoted. Working in government, communications, and recruitment, I discovered my strength in managing public messaging, and structuring complex information into clear, actionable content.

Working for the New York State Legislature, I handled legislative research, press communications, and constituent services, ensuring clear public engagement on key policies. Before that, at the local level of government, I managed government communications, recruitment, and digital content, helping to enhance communications between local elected officials and the community. I’ve also worked with Netula LLC as a recruiter, writer, and content editor, supporting a product launch and hiring efforts.
